The where and when to buying pearls at the Broome markets
If you come to Broome and leave without buying pearls, were you ever really in Broome?
I guess the same could be said for the infamous Broome markets which are always top of the to-do list for both locals and tourists.
Most (if not all) of our customers are on the hunt to buy pearls at the Broome markets as gifts for loved ones or just to treat yourself (because why not) and have a special keepsake to remember our special town.
So the million dollar question is;
The where and when to buying pearls at the Broome Markets:
Well Broome has 2 very distinct seasons; the wet and the dry. And whilst our markets operate in both, we obviously run them more frequently in the dry season.
The dry season is typically June | July | August | September
And during these times the markets run:
Saturdays and Sundays 8am - 1pm at the Broome Courthouse,
Hamersley St, Broome
and....
Thursdays 4pm - 8pm at the Broome Town Beach
Outside of the wet season the markets run Saturdays 8am - 1pm only at the Broome Courthouse AND staircase to the moon nights at Town Beach.
What kind of pearls do we sell? Well, how long is a piece of string?
Our selection is extensive (and stunning if we do say) from the classic round to unique keshi, some with bling & some without in both freshwater and local Broome pearls, there's a strand to suit any festive / race / holiday/ gift occasion you might have planned.
But if you're looking for something a little extra 'Broome' our staircase to the moon and Broome pearls are very popular.
Don't take our word for it, pop down and see for yourself.
