The Staircase to the Moon is one of many of Broome's many iconic natural wonders that's not to be missed. 

It's a natural phenomenon that can be seen in Broome, over 3 nights, when a full moon rises over the exposed tidal flats of Roebuck Bay. Therefor the dates for which it can be viewed change year on year.
